This quest for my top 10 favorite {made by me} OWH cards for 2011 was actually fun and pretty inspiring! I honestly can't believe that it has been three months since my last post. Thanks to all of you who have continued to check in on me - cardmaking and blog posting to resume very soon!
Some of my top 10 OWH cards I blogged about but some of them I didn't so if you have any questions about products or techniques used please feel free to leave them in the comment section below - I will do my best to remember what I did.

ReplyDeleteLisa, I'd been wondering where you were - good to see you post again! It may not be my favorite of the bunch, but it's the one that inspired me - the Disney character cards. You started posting those on the OWH FB page and it was the perfect inspiration for me for kits for my first ever OWH party. Thank you!

oh, my. What great cards. The eagle card is so classy but I must say I truly like every card. Nice coloring and great layouts.
ReplyDeleteOK..no fair, but, the eagle is stunning, black & white sending hugs is wonderful example of black & white, I love how old cause it is a folded card, LOL! I love them all!

Lisa, they are all wonderful, the giraffes had me smiling right away! Your black, red and white sending hugs card is beautiful! And of course, since I collect cows, I think the missing moo is fabulous! Oh, they are all great! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards... I really like your choice of embossing and textures for the different cards. Love your Best Fishes card with the bubbly blue background and the brown "seaweed" paper! And the cow card makes me smile :-)

I love the black/red/white cards, but the Best Fishes card made me laugh! I'm always in search of clever ways to phrase a common sentiment, and that and several of your cards do just that.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to pick a favorite from such a wonderful group of cards! I'll just go with the silly giraffes on the first one. Not only is the image and sentiment perfect for the paper, but that's one of my favorite folds. Happy New Year!
