DP Clover Worm with OWH Sketch #38

Hey there!  Just a quick post today to share a card that I made using up the "extras" on my desk and found that I liked it even better than the original cards I had made that left the extras!  Funny how that works sometimes, isn't it?

This card features the Doodle Pantry set Clover Worm and I have used the pre-colored version but it also comes in the outlined version for those of you that like to color.  The patterned paper is also included and coordinates with Stampin' Up! Garden Green very well.    I used OWH Sketch #38:

DP Caterpillar Swing in Color - OWH MWT & Sketch #150

Today's card share was inspired by the OWH Midweek Throwdown challenge which is to use blue and green on your card, adding orange and a neutral for an extra challenge. 

 

I chose to use this adorable pre-colored caterpillar from Doodle Pantry (love that all the colors in the challenge are covered!) The set is called Caterpillar Swing and is newly available in color as well as outline.  The patterned paper is one of three designs that are included with the set.  The colors coordinate beautifully with Stampin' Up! Tempting Turquoise card stock although I think the photo looks more like Bashful Blue.  Overall the colors are bright and cheerful and will work for either boys or girls. I made six of these for my OWH box.

DP Fuzzy Duckling and OWH Sketch #162

Today's card share features the Doodle Pantry Colorized set called Fuzzy Duckling - this set was previously released in outline format and Laurie chose it, along with several other sets, to digitally color for the March New Release.  I had some fun with the duckies and put two of them together (flipping one horizontally so they were facing each other.)  The sentiment is from a different set entirely, called Ducky Duck.  The patterned papers come with the Fuzzy Duckling set. 

Here is Sketch #162 - I really like it and will probably use it again and again.

ODBD March Challenge and Sketch #68

Hello everyone!  Today's card share is in response to this month's ODBD (Our Daily Bread Designs) Challenge with Operation Write Home which calls for using a scallop somewhere on your card.   I am highly motivated by the monthly ODBD challenges because the "prize" is free shipping for OWH! 

 

 

The patterned strip in the center is from the very first 6x6 paper pack that I have dedicated to use up completely before moving on (as demonstrated by Kristie Marcotte in this OWH tutorial.)  The pack is by Echo Park in the For the Record 2 collection and called "Documented."  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! called " Edgy Eloquence"  I used my Cuttlebug with the heart/scalloped heart Nestabilties and popped the layered hearts up with dimensional mounting tape.  I was able to make 4 of these for my OWH box.
