Great Technique for Lots of OWH Cards - Mojo Starter!

Just a quick post today to share with you a wonderful technique that I stumbled across on Pinterest for making several cards quickly (and simply) using patterned paper and a horizontal single line sentiment of your choice.  I used this technique with some papers that caught my eye today (by Close to My Heart and gifted to me about a year ago) and in just a few hours I had 18 cards to add to my Operation Write Home box.

Here are my cards:

And here is the short video I found on Pinterest by Catherine Poole:

Wow!  That was my first ever attempt to share a video...yay me!  :)

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope this post and video give you some inspiration and/or a "go to" technique when the mojo is low.

God Bless,

Midweek Throwdown - Spring Flowers

Hi There!  Today I want to share with you a few cards that I have made using a wonderful sketch I discovered on Jan's blog during the OWH New Year's Day unofficial bloghop.  I have a TON of patterned paper that I really want use and this sketch is perfect for it.

Here is the Sketch:
White card base is standard A2 size.  The measurements for the patterned paper (you can add .25 in to each side for the black layers) 5.25x4, 4.25x2.5, and 3.5x1.5  The heart, or circle in the original sketch, is 2 in at the widest point.

The first card I am entering in the OWH Midweek Throwdown challenge this week - the theme is "Spring Flowers"  I have made 6 of each of these cards and they will be sent in my next Operation Write Home box before the postal rates change on January 27th.

The patterned paper is was gifted to me  a few years ago, it is made by K and Company and is call "Hannah."  The stamp is from the Stampin' Up! set "Words of Wisdom."  The hearts were cut out with Spellbinder dies and my Cuttlebug.

Seriously, as Jan said, this sketch should come with a warning label - it's totally addictive.  :)  I will be making more of these to fill my box, they are so versitile I am sure OWH will have no problem fitting them into their upcoming shipments.

So, go out there and give it a try!  Then post a link here in the comments and I will come check it out and leave you some love!

Happy Stamping and God's Richest Blessings,

Here are my favorites, in no particular order (with a hyperlink to the original blog post below each card whenever possible):
