OWH Sketch 175

Today has been a very productive and yet a very unusual day.  I am excited and thankful for both!  God is working in our lives and it is so exciting!

On my way home from work I was pondering this week's sketch and I suddenly realized that I had everything I needed already out on my desk!  Love when that happens!  So, as soon as I could I sat down and put this card together:

I used this wonderful FREEBIE from Paula S. at Handmade by Paula.  I had downloaded and printed six of these pages earlier this week, cut them out last night, and then left them alone to figure out what to do with them later...and here it is!  The card stock is SU! Night of Navy although it looks more black in the photo.  The "brads" are faux, made with a standard whole punch and Glossy Accents.  The buttons are die cuts from My Favorite Things with a piece of navy hemp for the tie (also SU!)

Here is  OWH Sketch #175 that I used for inspiration:

Thanks for stopping by - let me know what you think.

  4. The buttonis the perfect accent to a great card! Tfs!!!

  5. How great to have that "Aha!" moment! You did a great job with this week's sketch and I LOVE the idea of the faux brads. I'm going to have to try that!
