Today's card is another post for my 2012 challenge to make a card using all of the S & S Sketches. I used Sketch #1 and combined it with the Midweek Throwdown #109 Color Challenge - to use kraft, blue, and green. I was completely surprised with how quickly this card came together when I approached it from the "I have a sketch and 3 colors to use" angle. It was a bit like calling out to my mojo "heeeere kitty....mommy has a treat for you!" If you have never tried cardmaking from this angle I highly encourage you to give it a go...it's fun!
Built from this sketch:
I used all Stampin' Up! products including Night of Navy, Kraft, and Mellow Moss cardstock. I know...I know...Mellow Moss was discontinued years ago....so I am a hoarder, ok? LOL I also used my Cuttlebug to dry emboss the NoN cardstock and added some silver brads. The flowers are from an SU! set called "Close as a Memory."
If you are interested in joining in this "Use every S & S Sketch in 2012" challenge with me please be sure to let me know so I can visit your blog too! The link to the sketches and a handy chart are on the S & S Sketches page.
Happy Stamping and God Bless You,
Lisa
Lovely card. I love the navy and kraft colors and the stamped flower image is so delicate and beautiful. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
